Hello all!
I'm looking on vistaprint.com in order to make up some business cards. Does anyone know or have any tips on how accessible this is? In planning your card design, knowing what it'll look like..etc.
any advice?
Thanks!

Hi, can i clarify that What i'm about to say below is purely my own experience,...
i've consider vista prints, but didn't go with them. The reason is because i found that their card is smaller than the conventional size, and the quality is somewhat poor. Also, thats a catch for what you paying, in terms of what you want and what you get and expect. Their free cards might be good if you are interested for giving it away to your family and friends as a way of contacting you, but if you looking at a business level, i won't suggest you to go for the "free" card.
What they consider "free" will cost you more at the end of the way, during check outs, specially if you are not careful on choosing and unchoosing stuff.
You'll also flooded with promotional emails from them, um, talking about at least 3 a week?
As far as how accessible the website is, its pretty accessible, but again, thats depends on your Technology experience. What i consider "accessible" might not be the same level as what you would consider as "accessible". I would suggest, for a intermidiat computer user, you should able to nevigate the website without too much trouble. However, if you talking about the design, you may need someone who have some eyesight to help you up with that. Most of the description as far as the images go don't necesary line up with what it is on print. You might also need someone to help you with choosing the typography of your card, e.g. type of fond, fond size, fond colour, etc etc.

Good luck

Who did you go with? and, maybe it would be better to get maybe the next level up when it comes to cards. How long ago did you consider using them?
Thanks so much for your input!

My biggest complaint for vista print is the shipping. They lure you in with a nice cheap price point, and then the shipping is usually double what you'd expect!

Yes, their postage is rather rediculously expendsive. Thats one of the catch that they have. You end up paying more than what you suppose to, or what you might with other printers.
I end up used one of the local printer. Its slightly expendsive. I was doing it for business purposes though, and it was quite an urgen order from my supervisor, so, instead of waiting for about 2 weeks to a month for my cards to arive from Vista Prints, we choosed the 1 to 2 days option.
I'm quite certain that Vista Prints have their printers in India or that part of the world.
Something you might want to watch out for your card is that it have at least they use 220GSM paper stock. Anything lower than that will be quite thin, unless they use some fancy plusticky type of paper.
